The new Klimaire PTHP Heat Pump R-32 Series delivers reliable heating and cooling in a compact, self-contained unit designed for quiet operation and energy-efficient performance. It’s an ideal solution for hotels, apartments, dormitories, offices, and other light-commercial spaces where comfort and reliability matter.

Featuring 4-in-1 functionality with Cool, Dry, Heat, and Fan modes, the system utilizes a high-efficiency heat pump for primary heating and automatically engages built-in electric resistance backup heat when additional heating is required, ensuring consistent comfort in varying conditions. The unit offers multiple control options for added flexibility. It can be operated directly on the unit through the digital control panel, adjusted using the included wireless remote, or connected to standard 24V thermostat wiring for centralized front-desk or building management control.

Designed for both replacement and new installations, Klimaire PTACs combine broad compatibility with a stylish, slim front design that maximizes usable room space. They fit most standard 42″ × 16″ wall openings, making them a seamless replacement for older units from major brands. For new installations, Klimaire-branded wall sleeves and rear grilles are available to ensure a precise fit and long-term performance.

PTHP Unit Sizes & Power Options

Klimaire PTAC units are available in 9,000, 12,000, and 15,000 BTU capacities—
ideal for a variety of room sizes and applications.

Each model comes standard with a 3.5kW auxiliary heater and an LCDI 6-20P plug.
For increased heating demand, the 15,000 BTU unit is also offered with a 5kW
auxiliary heater and a 6-30P plug.
